Royal Doulton Lamberth The figure depicts a standing woman in traditional regional dress, wearing a white bonnet, a blue and white checkered dress, and a white apron. She is shown with a pleasant expression, carrying a small woven basket on her left arm. The piece is decorated with hand-painted underglaze blue checks and fine facial details under a clear glaze. . Additionally, the base carries an incised H over the number 3, a model number notably shared with a similar design by Leslie Harradine for Doulton Lambeth. There is also a smaller incised mark, possibly a 6 or G, above the model number.
