A pair of framed colour reproduction prints after L.S. Lowry (British, 1887–1976), likely offset lithographs. The first work, titled Mill Scene with Figures, depicts a characteristic industrial landscape featuring matchstick figures in a central square before large factory buildings and smoking chimneys. The second, titled The Old House, Grove St. Salford, shows a person walking past a two-storey residence situated behind a gated entrance. Each print is set within a black mount which bears the printed title and the artist’s name, L.S. Lowry, in gold-coloured script. Both items are housed in matching gold-toned composite frames under glass. These are commercial decorative reproductions and do not appear to be hand-signed or part of a limited edition.
