A 9 carat yellow gold hinged bangle of oval form, featuring a polished finish. The exterior is decorated with six evenly spaced, raised circular motifs in a contrasting white metal, designed to resemble screw heads. The bangle is fitted with a tongue-and-groove box clasp, further secured by a single figure-eight safety catch. The tongue of the clasp is struck with a full set of British hallmarks including the crown gold standard mark, the fineness mark 375 for 9 carat gold, the leopard’s head for the London Assay Office, and the date letter k for 1984. It also bears the maker’s mark A·G in a rectangular shield. The piece is housed in its original black leatherette presentation box with a cream satin and black velvet interior, the lid interior printed in gold for Kingsway Jewellers.
