This lot comprises a trio of commemorative pendants issued in 1977, each housed in its original presentation case with accompanying documentation.

The first pendant is a John Pinches Mother’s Day 1977 medallion, crafted from gold on sterling silver (vermeil). The circular design features a bas-relief image of a bird, likely a partridge, perched among fruit-laden pear tree branches. It is suspended from a gold-plated fine link chain fitted with a bolt ring clasp. The item is held in a grey velvet case with a John Pinches London label and includes a printed Mother’s Day card dated 20th March 1977.

The second item is The Elizabeth R Silver Pendant, produced by Franklin Mint Limited to commemorate the 1977 Silver Jubilee. The oval openwork pendant is struck in solid sterling silver and features a central Tudor rose surrounded by the national floral emblems of the United Kingdom: the thistle, daffodil, and shamrock. It hangs from a silver fine link chain with a bolt ring clasp. It is presented in a blue velvet case with a certificate of authenticity stating it was minted in proof quality.

The third pendant is another John Pinches Mother’s Day 1977 medallion in gold on sterling silver. The circular medallion depicts a swan and a cygnet swimming among water lilies and reeds. It is suspended on a gold-plated fine link chain with a bolt ring clasp. The piece is housed in a green velvet case and includes the original Mother’s Day card, which bears a handwritten personal inscription.
