After Oskar Kokoschka (Austrian, 1886-1980). This mid-20th-century colour reproduction print on board depicts a panoramic, expressionistic view of Jerusalem, based on the artist’s 1929 original. The composition features the historic Old City walls and the Dome of the Rock set within a rugged landscape of hills, figures, and cattle in the foreground. The print reproduces the bold, impasto-heavy style of the original painting, showing simulated broad brushstrokes and textured palette knife work. In the lower-left corner, the piece bears the printed mark © A. P. P. CO., INC., indicating it was produced by the Associated Painters and Producers Company. The work is presented in a wooden frame with a weathered grey wash finish and a thin inner white slip.
