Marked 9ct gold chain of uniform curb link design. The necklace is fitted with a box clasp, further secured by a safety chain which terminates in a small bolt ring clasp. The metal has a distinct warm rose-toned hue. The tongue of the box clasp is struck with several marks. At the base of the tongue, within a lozenge-shaped border, is the mark 375 indicating 9 carat gold purity. Above this is an oval mark containing characters that appear to read ACCo or similar. At the top is a symbol that appears to be a stylized cross or set of scales. An accompanying handwritten tag states the weight.
