A matched pair of George V sterling silver salt and pepper casters of urn form. Each piece features a plain body raised on a circular pedestal foot, topped with a domed pull-off lid. One lid is pierced with multiple small apertures for pepper, while the other features fewer apertures for salt. The items are struck with full British hallmarks including the maker mark W.G LTD for William Griffiths & Sons Ltd, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter C for 1927.
