A trio of contemporary decorative figurines depicting figures from medieval legend, likely representing King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, and a knight such as Sir Lancelot. The set is crafted from heavy cast resin or polystone, featuring detailed hand-painted finishes to simulate stone, metallic armour, and fabric. The first figure depicts a seated king with long brown hair and a moustache, wearing a golden crown, chainmail, and plate armour under a flowing red cloak. He is seated on an ornate high-backed throne with a green stone-effect finish, decorated with Celtic knotwork, dragon head finials, and a large red cabochon at the crest. He holds a broadsword and rests his hand on a secondary crown. The second figure is a standing knight in full chainmail and a red surcoat adorned with a four-lobed emblem. He holds a sword in a blue and silver scabbard and carries a blue heater shield marked with a gold cross. The third figure is a seated queen with long blonde hair, wearing a golden crown and a pearl-style necklace. She is dressed in an ornate red gown with gold-trimmed borders and sits upon a throne matching the king’s in design and colour. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or production numbers visible on the bases or the bodies of the figurines.
