A group of two vintage decorative carved stone fruit ornaments, comprising a whole mango and a slice of melon. The pieces are crafted from polished alabaster and exhibit realistic hand-tinted colourations. The mango is sculpted in a smooth, bulbous form with a colour transition from a green base through yellow-orange to a reddish blush. The melon wedge displays a pale green rind and orange flesh, with the surface detailed with small, dark recessed circular depressions representing seeds. Both items have a high-gloss polished finish and lack any visible maker marks or signatures.
