Lot 155: A Second World War maritime liquid-filled compass housed in a brass case and gimbal ring mount. The instrument was manufactured by Sestrel (Henry Browne & Son Ltd) for Maritime Stores Ltd of Middlesbrough, UK. The white dial features a triangular Sestrel logo marked with the date 1941. The compass card displays cardinal and intercardinal points (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) alongside a 360-degree outer scale. The dial is further inscribed with No. BB3224 and the retailer details.

Lot 156: Two original watercolour paintings by the British artist Victor Noble Rainbird (1888-1936). The first painting, titled Winter Fuel, depicts a horse-drawn covered wagon and figures navigating a heavy snow landscape; it is signed Victor Noble Rainbird in the lower left. The second painting, titled After Rain, depicts a pastoral scene with cattle being driven along a muddy path past a red-roofed cottage. This work is signed and dated 1920 in the lower left and is presented in a decorative card mount with a printed border and the artist’s name.
