This collection comprises three distinct metal bells dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. The first item is a brass service tap bell, traditionally used on hotel or shop counters, featuring a central plunger mechanism and a tiered, flared base. The second is a dome-shaped hand bell with a dark chocolate-brown patina, decorated with a repeating pattern of incised circles and a triangular wire handle. This bell contains an internal chain-mounted ball clapper. The third item is a mechanical call bell mounted on a three-footed cast metal base with a high-domed bell and an internal striking mechanism. No maker’s marks, patent numbers, or identifying stamps are visible on any of the pieces.
