Buyer's Premium:

A collection comprising a silver-plated cruet set and a pair of modernist clear glass candle holders. The cruet set features a decorative silver-plated stand of circular form with an ornate pierced scrolling foliate and shell-form border, centred with a blank shield-shaped cartouche. The frame is supported by four decorative scroll feet and includes a central carrying handle with a large circular hoop and cast foliate terminal. The stand contains a matching five-piece suite of lead crystal glassware decorated with a diamond-cut pattern to the lower bodies and vertical fluting to the necks. The suite includes two tall cruet bottles with original faceted glass stoppers, two shakers with pierced silver-plated screw-on covers, and one mustard pot with a silver-plated hinged cover and an accompanying mustard spoon. Included in the collection is a pair of modernist clear moulded glass candle holders featuring a textured icicle or glacier design with multiple vertical, rounded projections of varying heights surrounding a central well. The design of the candle holders is in the style of Ronald Stennett-Willson for Wedgwood Glass.
