An assortment of antique glass apothecary and chemist bottles of various forms and colours, predominantly dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The collection includes three graduated jars with ground glass faceted spherical stoppers: one in opaque dark glass featuring a shield-shaped label for Hydrarg: Iod: Rub: (Red Mercuric Iodide), one in cobalt blue glass with a fluted base and label for Pil: Hydrarg c Rheo (Mercury and Rhubarb pill), and one in clear glass labeled for Pulv: Acac: et Trag: (Powdered Acacia and Tragacanth). Also included is a large clear cylindrical jar with a rectangular label for Pulv: Areca Nuc: (Powdered Areca Nut). An emerald green rectangular bottle features vertical ribbing and embossed lettering reading Anisette de Bordeaux, France. The collection is completed by a tall amber glass bottle with a rectangular ground glass stopper, a wide-mouthed amber glass jar, and a small faceted amber glass bottle with a cork stopper.
