This lot comprises a trio of iron pyrite mineral specimens, popularly known as fools gold. The largest of the three specimens features a cluster of well-defined, intergrown cubic crystals with fine striations visible on the faces, situated on a natural matrix. The second specimen is a massive blocky fragment with a granular crystalline surface texture. The third specimen is a smaller, elongated piece showing massive formation with surface crystallisation. All items exhibit a pale brass-yellow colour and a bright metallic lustre characteristic of iron sulphide.
