A collection of two decorative clear cut crystal items. The first is a footed trumpet vase featuring a lower field of deep diamond-cut facets. The upper flared section is decorated with an etched and cut band of sunburst motifs joined by delicate floral swags. The vase is supported by a short stem on a circular base with a radial star-cut underside. The second item is a lidded butter or cheese dish with a matching underplate. The domed lid is surmounted by a multi-faceted knob handle and features alternating arched panels of diamond cutting and frosted etched grape and vine motifs. The underplate has a flat centre and a raised rim decorated with wide, radial-cut notches. The clarity and sharp faceting suggest a high lead content crystal. No maker’s marks are visible.
