A contemporary sterling silver-mounted photograph frame of rectangular form, featuring a plain, highly polished border. The silver mount is struck with a full set of British hallmarks along the lower edge: the maker’s mark RC within a clipped rectangular punch for Carrs of Sheffield Ltd, the 925 fineness mark within an oval, the rose symbol for the Sheffield Assay Office, the lion passant sterling silver standard mark, and the lowercase date letter a within a circular punch for the year 2000. The frame is constructed with a sterling silver sheet over a non-precious core and features a textile-covered backing with an easel stand.
