A miniature cast bronze figurine of an anthropomorphic mouse produced by the Franz Xaver Bergman foundry in Austria. The figure is modelled in a standing position on its hind legs, holding a small object, possibly a bowl or a nut, between its front paws. The head is tilted upwards and slightly to the side, featuring large, rounded ears and a prominent snout. The bronze surface has a dark brown patinated finish with natural green verdigris oxidation visible in the recesses, ears, neck, and underside. The base of the figurine is marked with the Bergman foundry stamp, featuring the letter B within a stylized vase shape. It is also incised with the word GESCHÜTZT and bears the stamped mark MADE IN AUSTRIA.
