A 19th-century turned treen barrel-shaped tobacco jar and cover. The vessel features a cylindrical body with ring-turned horizontal bands and a dark, aged patina. The removable lid is decorated with concentric turned rings and is topped with a central pointed finial. Near the base is a circular aperture, which likely originally housed a small tap or spigot. The interior is hollowed with visible wood grain.
