A late 19th or early 20th-century tall brass floor stand, likely designed for use as a jardiniere stand or a floor-standing candle holder. The object features a flared, wide-rimmed bowl supported by a multi-sectional baluster stem incorporating various turned rings and knops. The stem is mounted to a stepped, circular weighted base. The piece is constructed from several brass elements joined by an internal threaded rod. The exterior surface displays an original, aged dark-brown mottled patina with iridescent highlights.
