A group of framed artworks featuring two oil on canvas paintings and three prints. The oil paintings, both signed R. EASTON in the lower right, depict mallards in flight; one scene is set over a marshland and the other over a snow-covered landscape. One is housed in a gold-finished frame and the other in a black and silver-toned frame.
The collection includes a monochrome topographical print titled Seaton Sluice, the Harbour c.1955 in cursive script, bearing the alphanumeric mark S523010 and a circular logo for SMITH’S PHOTO-PICTURES, set within a dark wood frame with a cream mount.
Also included is an advertising print for W.W. Greener firearms, depicting a side-by-side shotgun and various cartridges. The text reads W. W. GREENER RIFLES ESCOPETAS CARTOUCHOS LONDON, NEW YORK, MONTREAL & MELBOURNE. and Head office and Works :—ST. MARY’S SQUARE, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND. This print is presented in an oak-finished frame.
Completing the assortment is a monochrome halftone print of the actor W.C. Fields, identified by a printed label W.C. FIELDS at the bottom centre, housed in a simple black frame.
