This bronze sculpture depicts a human skeleton in the iconic contemplative pose of Auguste Rodin’s Le Penseur. Serving as a contemporary memento mori or vanitas work, the figure displays recognisable anatomical detail in the cranium, ribs, and vertebrae. The cast bronze is finished with a dark brown patina and is seated on a cubic bronze block. This block rests on a textured square bronze base plate, which is mounted on a polished black marble plinth featuring white veining. No artist signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are visible on the bronze or the marble base.
