A mid-20th-century flatware service by John Barker and Co. Ltd. of Sheffield. The collection comprises a service for six, featuring a variety of spoons, forks, and knives with additional serving pieces. The spoons and forks are made from electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) and designed with a plain flared-handle pattern. The knives are fitted with stainless steel blades and cream-coloured synthetic ivorine handles. The set is presented in a fitted wooden canteen with a green felt-lined interior and brass-toned exterior hardware. The knife blades are etched with John Barker, Sheffield, Stainless, Steel. The plated items bear the stamps J.B, S, and a four-part shield-shaped mark with the letters E P N S.
