This lot comprises a collection of silver-plated tablewares and an Oriental decorative object. Included is a silver-plated three-light candelabrum with scrolling branches and a central light, featuring Rococo-style foliate and floral decoration to the nozzles and the stepped, shaped base. The group contains several lidded entrée dishes and serving platters, notably a large oval platter with a gadrooned border. Two smaller trays are present, one oval with a beaded rim and one with a scalloped edge. A traditional Chinese metal water pipe features an engraved rectangular base with floral and circular motifs, and a hinged lid to the tobacco compartment with stamped Chinese characters. The lot is completed by a pair of cast metal nutcrackers with engraved floral decoration and an assortment of silver-plated flatware, including a serving spoon marked with maker’s initials and EPNS.
