A large and diverse collection of late 20th-century badges, pins, and buttons across various themes including humour, tourism, charity, and politics. The lot consists of metal enamel pins, die-cast badges, and celluloid tin-back button badges. Humorous button badges include slogans such as I’VE plenty of AMBITION I JUST HATE TO WASTE IT ON WORK!, SEX MACHINE featuring a bear character, SMILE… It makes people wonder what you’ve been doing, and I only drink when I’m alone or with somebody else. Political and historical items include Soviet-era memorabilia, notably a rectangular silver-tone plaque inscribed ЛЕНИНГРАД • СМОЛЬНЫЙ (Leningrad Smolny) depicting a statue of Lenin, alongside multiple profile badges of V.I. Lenin.
