A varied collection of vintage flatware and a children’s toy tea set. The group includes a commemorative cased set of six silver-plated spoons issued for the Australian Bicentennial (1788–1988), each featuring an enameled pictorial finial depicting historical milestones, presented with a historical information card. A partial flatware service in the First Love pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros is included, comprising six dessert spoons, six four-pronged forks, and one large serving spoon in a black case; the handles feature characteristic Art Deco reeded lines and floral sprays.
The collection further contains a seven-piece cased set of silver-plated flatware with scalloped shell-form bowls, consisting of one large serving spoon and six smaller spoons. A two-piece mother-of-pearl serving set is present, consisting of a carved spoon and a three-pronged fork with natural iridescent finishes. Also included are two separate sets of six knives; one set features translucent green celluloid handles and the other cream-coloured ivorine handles, both with stainless steel blades.
The children’s toy tea and dinner set features a cream lustre glaze and hand-painted floral decoration in blue, red, and yellow. This set includes a teapot, covered sugar bowl, milk jug, cups, saucers, and a small covered tureen with a separate stand. The ceramic pieces bear a circular stamped backstamp marked FOREIGN. The set is housed in its original red patterned cardboard box labelled TOY TEA SET NO. 2/45 FOREIGN.
