An assortment of pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment comprising glassware, stoneware, and porcelain items. The collection includes a group of glass chemical storage jars with black screw-top lids, each bearing paper labels for A. Gallenkamp and Co. (Northern) Ltd. These labels are marked Lead Metal Shot 5 and note locations in Widnes, Manchester, and Stockton-on-Tees; the jars contain grey metallic lead shot. Also included is a large cylindrical glazed stoneware apothecary jar with a metal lid, featuring blue transfer-printed text reading Unguentum Acidi Borici and a secondary paper label for Boric Acid Ointment. A smaller two-tone glazed stoneware jar with a fitted lid is present, stamped Pt on the shoulder.
The collection further contains glass soda syphons, including one clear glass and one cobalt blue glass example. Both bottles are etched with the script name Zephyr and include metal dispensing heads. Laboratory vessels include a white porcelain evaporating dish with a pouring lip, bearing a black Royal Worcester stamp to the exterior, a small white porcelain crucible, and a cream-coloured ceramic bowl with a green-painted rim.
