A vintage 9 carat yellow gold signet ring featuring an octagonal-cut black onyx plaque. An applied yellow gold initial D with a textured surface is set to the centre of the onyx stone. The plaque is secured in a four-prong setting. The ring is designed with flared, decorative shoulders featuring scroll-like motifs that transition into a plain gold band. The interior of the shank is stamped with a 9ct hallmark alongside an illegible maker’s mark.
