A large collection of vintage die-cast toy vehicles primarily manufactured by Matchbox (Lesney), accompanied by a selection of period transport periodicals. The vehicle collection comprises predominantly double-decker and single-decker buses and coaches. Notable models include multiple red London Routemaster-style buses featuring advertising liveries for Berger Paints, BP Longlife, Visit London, and Around London Tour-Bus. Other vehicles include a Matchbox Esso fuel tanker, a silver Greyhound Lines coach, a Kent Fire Brigade truck, a white ambulance with red cross markings, a green recovery tow truck, and an orange futuristic-style coach. The vehicles are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic windows, interiors, and wheels, featuring standard free-wheeling axles.
The ephemera includes a stack of approximately 15 Buses magazines published by Ian Allan. Visible issues include No. 245 (August 1975), No. 241 (April 1975), and No. 200 (November 1971). The cover of the August 1975 issue features a red Leyland Redline bus, registration UJB 501N, which was first registered in September 1974 with a 2500cc diesel engine. The collection is housed in a plain cardboard box.
