This collection of items relates to the service of A. M. Crozier and encompasses military, auxiliary service, and cadet force insignia. The military components include two yellow-on-black embroidered Royal Army Service Corps (R.A.S.C.) shoulder titles and two brass cap badges for the same corps featuring the cypher of King George VI and the Tudor crown. Military rank is indicated by two sets of three-bar sergeant chevrons in olive drab wool. Civil and youth service items comprise two embroidered Kirkham Grammar School CCF (Combined Cadet Force) shoulder titles, a large red-on-black AFS Fulwood (Auxiliary Fire Service) cloth patch, and a corresponding enamel AFS badge mounted on a leather strap. Personal identification items consist of a pair of compressed fibre identity tags stamped CROZIER, CE, and service number 14721337, alongside a metal identity bracelet on a chain. The lot also contains an Army Form A.2042c Field Service postal address re-direction card for Private A. M. Crozier, service number 14721337, of No. 3 Company, 37 Reinforcement Holding Unit, B.L.A. (British Liberation Army), addressed to a residence in Broughton, Preston, Lancashire. Additional items include small buttons and insignia related to the AFS.
