A collection of eight die-cast metal and plastic model aircraft produced by Atlas Editions, presented in four historical themed pairs. Each set consists of two aircraft with corresponding black triangular display stands, housed in original polystyrene protective inserts with printed card covers.
The sets comprise:
Northern Europe 1944: Includes a Lockheed P-38J Lightning in olive drab livery and a Focke-Wulf FW 190D in camouflage. Card cover is marked 3 909 015.
Sink the Bismarck! 1941: Includes an Arado Ar 196 floatplane and a Fairey Swordfish biplane torpedo bomber, both in maritime camouflage. Card cover is marked 3 909 017.
German Surrender 1945: Includes a Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXe and a Dornier Do 335 Pfeil in late-war camouflage. Card cover is marked 4 909 019.
The Battle of Iwo Jima 1945: Includes a Supermarine Seafire and a Kawasaki Ki.61 Hien in silver and red livery. Card cover is marked 4 909 022.
Each display stand is inscribed with the historical event and the specific aircraft model name.
