A vintage Dinky Supertoys military vehicle set, model number 660, comprising a Thornycroft Mighty Antar tractor unit and a detachable low-loader trailer. Manufactured in England by Meccano Ltd, the set is constructed from die-cast metal finished in original olive drab paint with ten original black rubber tires. The tractor unit features a fifth-wheel hitch for the detachable trailer, which is fitted with two articulated loading ramps at the rear. The underside of the tractor is cast with the inscriptions Meccano Ltd, Thornycroft Mighty Antar, and Made in England. The underside of the trailer is marked Dinky Supertoys 660 Tank Transporter. The set includes its original cardboard blue stripe box with a printed illustration and text including Dinky Supertoys 660 Tank Transporter, A Meccano Product, and Made in England. Note that this set is missing the Centurion Tank (Model No. 651) originally intended to be carried on the trailer.
