A pair of German Second World War type Motor Vehicle Driver’s Proficiency Badges, known as Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen, comprising silver and bronze grades. Each badge features a stamped metal insignia depicting a five-spoke steering wheel set within a laurel wreath on a pebbled background. These metal components are mounted onto circular dark-coloured woollen cloth backings. The silver-toned badge is struck in a light metal alloy with well-defined features, while the bronze-toned badge exhibits a darker metallic finish. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible on the obverse of either example.
