A Zuni figurative brooch by artist Pablita Quam depicting a Rainbow Man or Kachina dancer in traditional regalia. The piece is crafted using intricate multi-stone channel and mosaic inlay techniques, featuring turquoise, red coral, mother of pearl, yellow shell, and black jet set within a silver frame. The reverse of the brooch is hand-signed with the etched inscription Pablita Quam Zuni NM. The brooch is fitted with a horizontal pin and a revolving safety catch. It is accompanied by a handwritten card detailing the artist and subject matter.
