A Steiff limited edition plush figure of the British comic strip character Rupert Bear. The figure is constructed from white alpaca plush and features black bead eyes and a hand-stitched white yarn nose. The bear is dressed in its signature costume comprising a red knitted jumper, a yellow and black checked scarf with matching trousers, and white faux-leather lace-up shoes. A white and red Steiff fabric ear tag is attached to the left ear with a gold-coloured button, bearing the number 653568 and the text Made in Germany by Steiff KNOPF IM OHR. The set is complete with its original blue cardboard presentation box featuring RUPERT CLASSIC branding and character illustrations. Also included is a Royal Mail Rupert Bear stamp presentation pack, number 591, containing eight commemorative stamps within the original clear plastic protective sleeve.
