A Steiff Algy Pug collector’s figure from the Rupert Classic series, model number EAN 653582. This limited edition piece is crafted from light brown mohair and is dressed in a signature outfit comprising a blue felt jacket, a yellow waistcoat with white buttons, a white collar with a red bow tie, red trousers, and white lace-up shoes. The figure features blue eyes and a hand-stitched nose and mouth. Produced in 2008, this item was a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, exclusive to the UK and Ireland. The figure retains its signature Steiff brass button and white fabric ear tag. It is accompanied by its original blue illustrated presentation box, a multi-language quality guarantee card, and a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate identifies this item as number 00282 and bears the signatures of Martin Frechen and Wilfried Blomeke-Trox.
