A Poole Pottery Carter Stabler Adams unglazed stoneware vase, exhibiting a matte sandy-beige finish and a rounded body tapering to a slightly flared rim. It is decorated with a wide band of stylized organic motifs in dark brown and terracotta orange around the shoulder, accented by narrower concentric bands and a dotted rim. The base features an impressed rectangular mark reading ‘ART T.A. STABLER ADAMS LTD POOLE ENGLAND, ‘ accompanied by two hand-painted black marks, ‘WH’ or ‘HH’ and a trident-like symbol.
Condition report:
Good condition with a visible chip to the footrim. Minor surface wear consistent with age.
