Auction 8th December - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables & More
A Danish bronze cigarette box by Aedel Malm, dating to the 1920s. This rectangular, hinged lidded box is crafted from patinated bronze, featuring a plain wooden interior lining. The exterior exhibits a mottled green and brown verdigris patina. The lid is adorned with a raised relief depicting a seated or kneeling figure amidst abstract architectural or industrial forms, partially encircled by the embossed text “LANGELINIE KØBENHAVN”. The underside of the box bears an impressed circular mark featuring an animal motif, possibly a deer or horse, above partial text that appears to read “M.A.C. ØSTROMS FABR…” and “KØGE FASTE”.
