Auction 8th December - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables & More
A group of six sterling silver spoons of plain, traditional design, varying slightly in size and form. Each spoon bears hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office (anchor), the lion passant for sterling silver, and a lowercase ‘b’ date letter, indicating a date of either circa 1926-27 or 1951-52. The lot includes spoons with two distinct maker’s marks: “B.B S” (likely Barker Brothers Silver Ltd.) and “R.F.M.” Several spoons are also stamped “MADE IN ENGLAND.”
