A collection of twelve hand-painted miniature decorative figurines by Lilliput Lane and David Winter. Crafted from resin or a similar cold-cast composite, these pieces depict quaint English country cottages and village shops in a detailed, rustic style. They feature intricate architectural elements such as thatched and slate roofs, brickwork, and detailed shopfronts. Several models bear legible text, identifying them as “PENNY SWEETS, ” “Haberdashery, ” and a “BAKERY Mrs. Chunn Est. 1785.” Labels on the felted bases confirm manufacturers ‘David Winter™’ (© 1983, John Hine Ltd., Great Britain) and ‘Lilliput Lane™’ (© 1992, Handmade in Cumbria, UK), with specific piece names including ‘The Bothy, ‘ ‘Penny Sweets, ‘ and ‘Kendal Tea House.’ The collection represents a modern collectible series from the late 20th century.
