A collection of four J. & J. Cash Ltd. “Cashs Woven Pictures, ” each a miniature silk tapestry depicting a historical transportation scene. The collection includes “Thames Barges (C. 1870), ” “Union Pacific Railroad Circa 1850,” “The Rocket 1830” (Stephenson’s Locomotive), and “Canal Boats (C. 1900).” Each picture is finely woven in silk, showcasing vibrant colors and intricate detail. They are individually matted and presented under glass in dark wood frames with a gold inner trim. The reverse of each frame bears an intact, descriptive “Cashs Woven Pictures” label from J. & J. Cash Ltd., Kingfield Road, Coventry, England. One frame also features a “LOT # 579” sticker.
