A vintage sterling silver brooch, designed in a multi-layered starburst and cross form, characteristic of the Aesthetic Movement. It features a central circular medallion intricately engraved with foliate scrollwork, bordered by a twisted rope detail, and set upon an eight-pointed starburst which is further overlaid on a cross with small spherical terminals. The reverse displays a functional hinged pin and C-clasp closure. The word “STERLING” is clearly stamped on the upper arm, confirming its material.
