A framed coastal landscape painting attributed to Ivan Lindsay (20th/21st Century), titled or depicting The Mouth of the Tyne, Tynemouth. The medium appears to be acrylic or watercolor on paper or board. The composition features a busy sandy beach, identified through web intelligence as Tynemouth Longsands, overlooked by a steep cliffside. Prominently situated atop the cliff is a Gothic Revival church with a tall spire, alongside several white residential structures typical of the Tynemouth area. A paved pathway winds down the grassy slope towards the beach. The artwork is signed “I. LINDSAY” in the lower right corner. It is presented in a modern light wood (oak-tone) frame, mounted under protective glazing with a wide, off-white mat and a narrow speckled gray inner border.
