A pair of Mid-Century Modern biomorphic art glass bowls designed by Paul Kedelv for Flygsfors Glasbruk, Sweden, circa 1950s. These hand-formed glass dishes, executed in the Coquille pattern, feature an asymmetrical, undulating form with thick rims and a recessed central depression. Each piece is constructed with a clear outer casing. One bowl is a solid smoky gray/olive color. The second bowl features a vibrant turquoise blue core encased in clear glass and rests on a flat, applied black glass base element. Faint, etched inscription markings are visible on the underside of the gray piece, partially legible as Dan… and possibly WV-D.
