A single folk art style statuette crafted from composition material or resin, designed to simulate dark, carved wood. The figurine depicts a female character, possibly a fishwife or market vendor, carrying a large woven basket or creel on her back. She stands upon a rectangular base which is detailed with simulated coiled rope around the upper tier. The front of the base is inscribed CANNY TYNESIDE. The side of the base features the inscription LUCKY WOODEN DOLLY / FAMED AMONG SEAMEN, with partial words T and AS OVER visible on the incomplete third line.
