The collection consists of four hand-carved wooden printing blocks consistent with traditional Indian textile printing techniques (hand block printing). The blocks are constructed from dark hardwood and feature a variety of forms. The collection includes two blocks featuring integral handles and three solid stamp forms. The carved designs vary, including dense geometric patterns, dot matrices, stylized floral and foliate motifs often used for border work, and detailed outline printing. Specific designs include one block with a dense diagonal dot matrix and stylized floral elements, one block featuring a swirling foliate and floral pattern, and one block featuring a dense stylized floral and foliate border motif. Several blocks exhibit small, drilled perforations on their sides, consistent with traditional construction methods. Extensive residual dye staining is visible in black and dark red pigments. No textual markings or inscriptions are visible.
