Two West German ceramic vessels, including a large bulbous vase and a smaller vessel. The larger vase features a hand-painted floral and foliate design in the Italian Majolica style, executed in shades of blue, yellow, green, and maroon over a cream-coloured ground. The base of this vase is embossed with the mark W. GERMANY and the model number 284-47. The smaller vessel is marked BAY W. GERMANY 559 16 on the underside and features an earthy, multi-toned brown textured glaze on the exterior with a dark brown glazed interior. Both items are constructed from ceramic with glazed finishes.
