A collection of three John Wayne commemorative display items, centering on the Franklin Mint John Wayne Western Commemorative .45 Single Action non-firing replica revolver. The replica firearm is housed in a shadow box frame with a tan liner. The replica features extensive silver-toned metal scroll engraving across the barrel, cylinder, and frame. The trigger guard and backstrap are gold-toned plated. The faux ivory/yellow grips are engraved with an eagle motif. The frame bears visible markings including patent dates (e.g., PAT. SEPT. 19, 1871) and an etched "John Wayne" signature on the butt strap. A brass plaque mounted below the firearm confirms the item as "THE JOHN WAYNE WESTERN COMMEMORATIVE .45 SINGLE ACTION."
The lot includes two additional framed collages. The first collage features photographic reproductions and printed media, including stills relating to the film True Grit and a reproduction California Driver License for "JOHN (THE DUKE) WAYNE." The second collage features a large portrait of John Wayne wearing an eye patch, alongside text excerpts and a True Grit cast listing. All three pieces are housed in matching dark wood frames with liners.
