Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A fine glazed porcelain figurine by Lladro, titled Weary Ballerina (model number 5275), also known by the Spanish title Frivolo. This piece depicts a seated female dancer in a graceful, dynamic pose atop a dark-coloured stool. The figure is dressed in a voluminous white skirt and a lavender-toned bodice featuring puffed sleeves and delicate blue lacing. The underside of the base bears the official blue Lladro backstamp with the bellflower logo, Hand Made in Spain, and the copyright mark for DAISA. Additionally, the base contains the impressed code E-27 F. This model was designed by sculptor Jose Roig and was in production from 1985 until its retirement in 2005. The item is accompanied by its original light blue branded cardboard box from Valencia, Spain. No dimensions were provided for this lot.
