Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
A Royal Doulton hand-decorated ceramic figurine titled Balloon Lady, reference number HN 2935, originally modelled by Peter A. Gee. The piece depicts a woman in traditional attire, featuring a wide-brimmed black hat with a green ribbon, a deep purple shawl with blue fringing, a white blouse and apron, and an ochre-coloured skirt. The figure is shown holding a cluster of multi-coloured balloons. The underside bears the official Royal Doulton maker’s mark, the model name and number, the artist’s name, and a copyright date of 1983. The base also features a handwritten signature in brown pigment. The figurine is accompanied by its original blue branded presentation box.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition. The accompanying presentation box exhibits minor shelf wear to the exterior.
