Saturday 11th April - Lladro & Royal Doulton & Worcester Figurine Sale
Royal Doulton glazed porcelain figurine titled Biddy Penny Farthing, model HN 1843. The piece was originally modelled by Leslie Harradine and depicts an elderly woman wearing a patterned bonnet, a black shawl with purple fringing, and a white apron over a grey skirt. She is shown carrying a cluster of multi-coloured balloons and a wicker basket containing yellow flowers. The figurine is hand-decorated with a glossy finish. The base features the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, the model name and number, and the modeller name. It also includes the copyright mark for Royal Doulton Tableware Limited 1937. The figurine is accompanied by its original dark blue Royal Doulton branded box.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. The original box shows minor shelf wear consistent with age.
